Binocular is a design partnership based in New York City. The two principals, Joseph Cho and Stefanie Lew, engage the design process with a dual perspective that is informed by their respective backgrounds in architecture and art history.

Looking critically at every element of a project, Binocular delivers intelligent design solutions that are characterized by their clarity, precision, and attention to detail.

Binocular's design work has been recognized for its excellence on multiple occasions, including several awards from the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) in its highly-respected, annual competition, 50 Books/50 Covers. The studio's work has also received honors from the New York Book Show, the Association of American University Presses (AUUP), and the American Alliance of Museums (AAM).
